Oh. My god. I can’t even tell you how much I loved this anime. After I got used to the sort of squishy faces, and once-in-a-while filler, I really enjoyed watching this. Enough to watch it twice, Roflmao.
Regardless of me being… Well, me, and hating the shojo bubbles and all, I actually really liked this. There was just enough romance to keep it interesting and not piss me off at the same time. And the costumes never fail to make me fall off my chair either laughing or ripping my eyes out from “oh the girliness”. I can handle it, though, and it’s pretty interesting after I’m past that. The plotline is an average unless it comes to Shaoran (Yes, that’s how you spell his name in CARDCAPTORS. It’s different in Tsubasa, you bitches.) and Sakura and their pairing… SS makes me squeal fangirlishly, and that’s very hard to do…
Overall, the plotline was squee-worthy, the animation was crap, and the characters are so huggable that I want to squeeze them to death. Guess the rating?
